Your Impact
Lead the development of Asahi Global Procurement’s low-cost country sourcing capability, using China as the testing market and building a scalable model for future expansion.
Reporting to the Global Category Director - SCL, you will partner across Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Finance, Operations and regional business units to create sustainable value through strong supplier ecosystems, disciplined governance and cross-functional execution.
Key responsibilities
You will turn global sourcing strategy into a repeatable capability that strengthens supplier performance, value creation and business continuity across regions.
- Lead the global Low-Cost Country Sourcing strategy, roadmap and execution.
- Build preferred supplier ecosystems across China, India and Southeast Asia.
- Drive sourcing, supplier development, value engineering and localisation.
- Embed standard processes, governance, KPIs and qualification frameworks.
- Recruit, coach and develop a high-performing, scalable procurement team.
About You
You are a senior procurement leader who combines deep sourcing expertise with strategic thinking, strong people leadership and the ability to align diverse global stakeholders around complex transformation priorities.
- Proven, mature career experience across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality or Procurement.
- 7+ years leading Procurement and People.
- International and above-market experience within a multinational business.
- Advanced category, sourcing, supplier, risk and governance capability.
- Business-related degree
- English proficiency and advanced MS Office skills.
