Procurement Specialist - Sustainability Supplier Risk Due Diligence

As an AGPS Specialist, Sustainability Supplier Risk Due Diligence you will support supplier sustainability and risk due diligence across Asahi’s global procurement operations by ensuring accurate data, proper documentation, and compliant processes. Maintain clear records and governance standards to enable reliable risk assessment and responsible sourcing decisions.

 

 

Work closely with global procurement teams and suppliers to ensure smooth and efficient due diligence activities, while improving processes, maintaining data quality, and delivering accurate reporting in a structured international environment.

 

 

Key responsibilities

 

 

  • Manage supplier sustainability submissions, validate evidence, and maintain accurate, audit-ready records across systems.
  • Review supplier information against sustainability and risk criteria, preparing structured case documentation and tracking corrective actions to closure.
  • Support daily operations of sustainability and supplier risk platforms, including data updates, issue resolution, and user support.
  • Monitor KPIs, data quality, and case progress, and prepare regular reports for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure smooth, compliant, and efficient due diligence processes.

 

 

About you

 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sustainability, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in operations, risk, sustainability, compliance, procurement, or shared services.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and ability to manage data accurately.
  • Comfortable working with systems and data tools (Excel, SAP, Ariba, ServiceNow, or similar platforms).
  • Highly organised with strong follow-up discipline and ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Clear communicator with ability to work with global stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Experience with sustainability or supplier risk platforms (EcoVadis, Sedex, Envizi, etc.) is an advantage.
