Your Impact
The AGPS Team Lead is responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a team of AGPS Specialists to deliver efficient, accurate, and compliant procurement operations across all AGPS service lines, including Insights and Analytics, Reporting and Compliance and Sustainability, Risk & Innovation Enablement.
This position is accountable for achieving procurement KPIs and service levels by overseeing team performance, optimising resource allocation, and driving operational excellence within analytics and reporting processes.
The Team Lead acts as the primary escalation point for complex data, reporting, and governance-related issues, ensuring timely resolution through structured problem-solving and root cause analysis.
The role drives continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance data quality, reporting frameworks, standardisation, and automation. It also ensures strong governance practices by maintaining compliance with procurement policies, risk management frameworks, and audit requirements.
In addition, the Team Lead builds and maintains effective relationships with key stakeholders, providing expert insights, actionable reporting, and data-driven recommendations to support strategic decision-making and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of AGPS Specialists, fostering high performance, engagement, and continuous capability development
- Oversee delivery across AGPS service lines, ensuring accurate, efficient, and compliant execution of procurement operations
- Drive team performance against defined procurement KPIs, service levels, and quality standards
- Monitor workload and manage resource allocation to meet business demands and service delivery targets
- Act as the primary escalation point for complex procurement, data, reporting, and governance-related issues, ensuring root cause analysis and sustainable solutions
- Identify and implement process improvements, standardisation, and automation to enhance operational efficiency and value creation
- Strengthen data quality and reporting frameworks to provide actionable insights and support informed decision-making
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers across the global organisation
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, compliance standards, audit requirements, and risk management frameworks
- Provide expert operational guidance, governance support, and reporting to support business objectives
About you

8+ years in Procurement Operations, Analytics, Reporting, or Governance, preferably in shared services, consulting, or global environments.

Proven people leader, coaching and developing teams of 5–10 in performance-driven settings.

Strong experience with procurement systems and data (SAP S/4HANA or ECC, Ariba, ServiceNow), advanced Excel/dashboard reporting, and knowledge of EcoVadis, Sedex, or Envizi (added advantage).

Solid understanding of data governance, reporting controls, compliance, and procurement performance management, including system integrations.

Skilled communicator and collaborator, passionate about analytics, insights, sustainability, risk management, and continuous improvement.
