Your Impact

You will lead a team of Procurement Specialists delivering critical procurement services that support Asahi’s global procurement strategy.

Managing teams across Content Management (Service Catalogue) and Requisition-to-Order Processing, you will ensure procurement operations are delivered efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with established governance and service standards. You will champion operational excellence, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and leverage data and technology to enhance the user experience and create sustainable business value.

You will play a key role in developing team capability, optimising processes, and ensuring scalable, compliant procurement operations across a global environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Procurement Specialists, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Oversee procurement operations across Content Management and Requisition-to-Order service lines.
• Drive performance against KPIs, SLAs, and governance requirements.
• Act as the escalation point for complex operational, system, and master data issues.
• Partner with Procurement, Finance, Technology, and Business stakeholders to deliver exceptional service outcomes.
• Champion process standardisation, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Use reporting, dashboards, and operational data to drive performance and informed decision-making.
• Manage workforce planning, resource allocation, and team capacity to meet business needs.

About You

You are a people-first leader who enjoys developing teams and creating efficient, customer-focused procurement operations. You thrive in a structured environment, enjoy solving complex problems, and use data to drive performance and continuous improvement.

• Solid experience in Procurement Operations, Shared Services, Global Business Services, Procurement Excellence, or Procure-to-Pay environments.
• Strong experience leading and developing small – medium size teams
• Strong knowledge of end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes and procurement operational controls high preferred
• Advanced Excel and dashboard reporting skills, with the ability to analyse data, identify trends, and provide operational insights.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, Ariba and ServiceNow.
• Background in consulting, shared services, or global operations environments highly regarded.
• Strong stakeholder management and English communication skills,
• A passion for process excellence, continuous improvement, and delivering great customer outcomes
• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Procurement, or a related discipline preferred.
